February - March 2023Aura 23 WebsiteSkills: React, Node.js, MongoDB, Micro-services, JavaScript, REST APIA website made for KLS GIT's Aura festival. The website featured a curated list of all events, and also enabled users to sign up and register for the events online. The site also featured a unique and intuitive user interface.
The website was designed to integrate with and utilize RazorPay, so that users could register and finalize the payments quickly. However, due to technical complications and timely constraints, the idea was resketched to accept UPI payments from users by displaying a QR code on the site, and then accepting the Transaction IDs from users for validation.
The front-end was designed with React.js and other technologies like Tailwind CSS for faster productivity. The back-end was built with Node.js and Express.js, and MongoDB was our primary database. The site was hosted on AWS's EC2 instance (M6a instance). The website was live and in production for about 20 days.
An admin panel (for event coordinators, to manage and track registrations) was also designed with React.js and advanced UI kits like Refine MUI, which was hosted on Netlify.
